please recommend a mid-size LED light with charging base

Hey All,

I recently tried the orcatorch wr10 because of its charging base. I really like how the light can run 1000 lumens for as long as necessary, and it turns on low automatically when the power goes out… Unfortunately it always felt warm to the touch (thanks to the wireless charging) which really bothered me from a safety standpoint… Also I tested the battery fully charged at 4.25v.

If a light is going to sit on the charger 24/7, then I need to be confident it wont over-charge a lithium ion battery.

Anyway, now I want to find something similar to replace it… any suggestions?

Olight S30R comes with a charging stand. I don’t think it comes on automatically when the power goes out. Don’t know of any others that do but someone may come up something.

Inductive charging? “Wireless charging” I’m not sure but if you just want a charging base the Olight S30R Baton III comes to mind.

The Olight R50 Pro Seeker LE comes with a dock that can turn the light on low when power is disconnected. It’s a 1 x 26650 light.

Not a “charging dock” or anything, but a lot of usb-charged lights need to be turned on for them to charge, and unplugging it (losing power) takes it out of charging-mode and turns on the main light. Keep it on low.

I’m not comfy with keeping a cell eternally “topped off”, whatever’s doing it, whether a usb adapter or docking station, so…
