Ah! Another test photo:
There! Success! My photobucket upload setting was set to "800x600". I increased it to the max (1024x768 & checked "Display my linked photos in their original file size"). Better.

I thought the default was 30. That's what I see and I don't remember ever changing it. 
Then again, I can't always remember what I had for supper the night before.
