Good player in good price atm.

0.5€ is a steal! It’s a nice app. I just wish it had parametric EQ like Neutron.

Use Google play music or a free app
Play music is the bomb
Had my music uploaded from my sole HD with all music (yeah stupid just 1 it was while organising sigh)
Then few days later I drop the disc, dead but besides scattered around on several PCs and HDS all neatly organised available in play music what a relief

Just use VLC for all your media (free)

thanks, just replaced the other freeuaic player with VLC.

Glad to help. VLC is highly respected, competent and popular. It originated in the Linux world and spread to Android and Microsoft versions. Install it on your PC/laptop.

Yeah using it for years on desktop (Ubuntu)
Never thought of even checking availability on Android

Been using VLC on my PC’s for years. Just installed on my Android. Works great! Thanks!

Maybe I missed that, but where in VLC I can find EQ, tag editor and lyrics downloader?

Hahaaaa ! brilliant (Linux Mint)

Desktop/PC

EQ - Tools>Effects and Filters>Equalizer (amongst many others)

tag editor - Tools>Media Information>General (editable)

lyrics downloader - Tools>Plugins and Extensions>Extensions>Lyrics Finder (amongst many others)

Android

EQ - Menu>Equalizer

VLC is good for video on the phone but the EQ is a bit limited as you can’t create custom presets.

Ahhh, didn't realise that. (I leave it turned off)

Does anybody know what a sticky broadcast is for android permissions?

Power amp is great i had it before.

Sony updated the Walkman app so i use that as my standard player the best player you can get on android but only works on Sony’s

For PC i would use winamp for music…

Really still whipping the lama’s as$?

I use CloudPlayer and have a few promo codes if anyone wants one (just PM me).

I’ve never came across a better alternative. What do you use? VLC only? I had VLC for video on Windows long time ago but there were always better/faster/less resource hungry substitutes.
Winamp is no perfect but if you mainly use keyboard shortcuts to operate a player there’s nothing even close to my knowledge. I can play whatever tune I want even with monitor turned off… I also use queue feature inside playlist on daily basis. There’s also winamp for Android albeit somewhat lacking in functionality compared to desktop counterpart.

Had K-lite codec pack with media player classic for videos and indeed Winamp for audio
For such a long time and thought I read winamp has stopped
But since changing to Ubuntu it is VLC for video.
Do use the google play app on several devices for audio
I have no idea with what I play audio on the PC, its either in browser of I just play an album and use the application Ubuntu starts
Cool to see the lama’s ass is still being whipped!
