Powerful flooder

Hi, I’m checking around and dont find something cheap and “good” (for my needs)….

So let me to ask.

I need a light with a very large spill and if possible, must throw far. That thing must have tolerates high runtime in highest mode too

I thinking in go to tr-j20, but seems very undriven and I dont want to mode for ruin another light

I need some help, I like a lot the tn40 but its over U$230>>>>R$745 without taxes :weary:

So guys, whats recommend?

Far throw plus large spill / flood.
That could be an issue depending on the range you want, and whether you want spill OR actual flood.
There are options, but if you want both extreme range + dedicated flood you’ll need 2 lights !

The throw is far as possible in flooder category not need close by the pure throwers, but the spill must be large

The Olight X7 can be bought for as low as $129 and it is one of the best high output flooders right now.

You may have a few options. So if flood is a priority but that flood has to reach-out, the J20 would do the job up to around 100-120m - you’ll get the light that far for sure. If you need longer range but still flood, you’ll need to compromise on the flood a bit.
Thrunite multi emitters would fit the bill for sure.

That’s the one I was thinking! I couldn’t bloody tap the name out of my skull.

If you have a bit of patience: the BLF developed Q8 will have over 4000 lumen output, with plenty spill but with a decent throw as well. But it is still in developement and it will probably take into the new year before production.

The X7 can handle very well the heat around 5000lm? Interesting price!

Thats an interestnig choice :open_mouth:

Its defined the store which will sell?

Just keep it moving around in a freezer, you’ll be fine
If you use the 5k mode until the light turns off it’ll get “warm”

So, some nights here reaches 31ºC……….

it’s not bad, but i’m still waiting for 10k lumens, 4x XHP 50 or XHP 70 version :person_facepalming:

The initial seller would be Banggood, but the person who the appointment was made with has left Bangood, we are in the process of contacting the ‘new flashlight guy’ at Banggood to see if the arrangement can still go on.

If you just want mega pure flooder
Olight x7- $129, 9000 lumens, 24k cd. Max beam distance: 313 m
HaikeLite MT03- $129, 8760 Lumens
If you want a mega light has tight hot spot with wide spill I’ll suggest
Thrunite TN40S- $189, 4450 lumens, 331k cd. Max beam distance: 1151m
FENIX TK75 2015- $ pm M4D M4X for the code, 4000 lumens, 105k cd, Max beam distance: 650m
Jetbeam T6- $ pm M4D M4X for the code, 4350lumens, 119k cd, Max beam distance : 750m
HaikeLite MT07- $95, 5000 Lumens

I estimate the Q8 at 75-100 kcd, Tom knows better than me.
edit: Looked up Tom’s numbers on his Q8 test light: 45-50kcd

How about the more budget friendly Convoy L6 or Thorfire S70? (around $60)
Both run a XHP70 at around 4K lumens. Plenty of flood with still some throw.

Acebeam K60, 5000 lm, $179, 704m

Is there a code available anywhere for the X7?

ask M4D M4X via PM or mail.

Thank you. Just shot him an email.
