My kid’s FUEL battery door has broken twice. Just poor design but you get what you pay for.
Thing is he like the brand.
Is the EOS design any better?? Flaws??

I’ve used a piece old mountain bike tube to fix my friend’s fuel. It’s scrappy but effective. I had no problems with the EOS when I had one (or two).
Could you explain how you used the tube? Did you simply wrap it around so the door stay closed?
Yes. I cut the tube about an inch wide and stretch it across the width of the light.
I also have a FUEL battery cap broken. Also used a push bike tube for remedy but didnt excel in the looks department.
Contacted US Princeton Tec who then referred me to AU distributor who promptly replaced the broken headtorch I returned.
I got a couple of Niteye HA30 headlamps for Christmas. I have a fuel that has only been used once. Just like new. I will sell it to you at a good price and throw in a little used EOS-3 for free. Just PM me if interested.
EOS is pretty beefy.
For a little bit more you can get a Zebralight H52
Headlamps are sold.
