What’s the best way to remove printing from a flashlight, preferably leaving the anodizing behind.
There is no anodizing under the printing. Remove the lettering, and it leaves a negative image showing bare aluminum underneath.
Here's where you exclaim, "Curses! Foiled again!".
It can still give an interesting effect, at least more interesting than boring white. Hard to get a pic that shows a clear difference between white and bare AL...
When I do it, I use a tungsten scribe, sharpened to the point it'll draw blood if you just look at it wrong. J)
