I am excited to receive my Manker T01 from Banggood, but it seems to have a problem: From off, single click should bring you to the low mode, but mine just stay off. I tried eneloop and 14500, neither works.
Is this normal? I saw in multiple review videos which says it should just give low mode with a single click from off.
I have to hold mine a second.
Did you try keeping the button pressed for more than 1 second? Mine always goes to the last mode used, the U11 always start at low but if you keep it pressed it goes to the last mode selected.
On my T01 it is press and hold to turn on. Click to change modes. Hold to turn off. Wull turn back on in last mode.
If you hold it for a sec from off, it goes to the last mode.
If you short click from off, it should turn on low.

It could be pre-production UI - in this version there’s no shortcut to low mode on short press when off. I had that version also.
My T01 also does not start with a short click. The U11 does.
Oh no… Why??
Does production E11 lack the short-click on function as well?
Yep, two versions. One has the one click to low, the other doesn’t. Mine doesn’t. Wish it did. Oh well.
Are al the T01 from banggood pre-production? I’m thinking of ordering one but I don’t want a pre-production one.
@ ktsl: Can you tell me which one did you buy? White or black and what LED tint?
Silver. They only have one tint which I believe is CW.
It’s a bit odd there isn’t UI continuity in what are essentially lights from the same family.
my bad it’s the U11 that comes in CW and NW.
I got the cw black version from Banggood a few weeks ago, don’t know if it’s a pre-production or not. It has Godmes T01 inscribed on the battery tube along with sharp head fins… it also had the quick click on feature.
Awesome little light, but sadly this one had a driver issue. Functioned as it should on AA battery, but not so on a 14500… after about a minute or so in turbo mode it wouldn’t turn back on… had to wait for it to completely cool down before use it.
Old thread, I know…
Could it be that your 14500 was a protected one, and turbo was triggering battery protection?
I was using new Efest purple cells. After a half dozen or so emails and a couple videos Banggood gave me a full refund plus I got to keep the light. I really wanted this light so subsequently I purchased two more… one from Gearbest the other from Fastech. Only one out of the three operates correctly with a 14500… I edc that one regularly, the other two are destined to be AA users only, and will be holiday/birthday gifts.
I wonder if E11 will have the same problem. Hope it was fixed, as I really want that one. Have U11 and it’s amazing.
Got a silver one from banggood a few days ago. Does not have quick click to low. This isn’t advertised in the description so if yours does have it then it’s a bonus.

My E11 is pretty sweet after I de-domed the led… it was way to floodie for me. It went into low voltage protection mode at 3.06v… perfect!
