thanks guys, you nailed it, and special thanks to tsellers for both the mod and the touching covering letter filling me in on the details. the tint and the light are spot on, cant wait to get some efest imr 14500 cells, the battery spacer is already made, for now its on panasonic nimh cells, and the output is more than adequate for work use so I cant wait to get it fully operational.
I wont say much more for now as I plan a review over the Christmas period but I am extremely grateful to you all.

its actually fine there too, and spot on for gords work life, I inverted the clip so the button is on the bottom when clipped, no chance of accidental activation now.

He’s originally from Louisiana. What they call a cajun. David’s a really nice guy, a friend for going on 25 years. I saw your picture and felt I knew you immediately.

David is one helluva AC repair guy, also fixes all manner of car, truck, bus, small engine. So by proxy you must also be very good!

I started out to put a T3 into it but as there were none left to reflow onto those SinkPad copper bases, ended up using a T4 5B instead. Maybe though that’s for the best as I noticed you already have a T3 anyway, so will look forward to your impressions betweeen the T4 and the T3. I just hope my mod holds long enough for that to happen, and it was very diplomatic of you not to comment on the quality of my work!
