Tried a pair, in series, of protected EVVA 26650 10 amp CDR claimed and fully charged cells in a new light yesterday. After less than a minute on high the light started blinking on and off at a relatively low frequency so I suspect that the protection circuit on one of the batteries was tripping and resetting. 10 Amp protected Xtar and Keeppower 26650 batteries worked fine.
