Hello regarding a triple Nichia 219b 4500k 9080 In a lumintop 18650 prince build,…normally running it at normal high would be around 600 lumens right?.
Can they be pushed further to 1000 safely or isn’t that safe?.
Noticeable difference from 600 to 1000+ lumens worth it ?.
I’m looking at that or a xpl v2 1a triple in it instead maybe at 1800 lumens max!.

1000lm is easily possible. However, if using it indoors or close range, you may not notice much difference. Outside is different, you will notice some difference but not as much as you might think.
Which version of the Prince ? Brass, copper or SS ?
The pill is made of copper in all versions, however the heat would dissipate best in the copper version.
I made mine with 3*219C 4000K and a COnvoy driver/Biscotti with 8*7135 (2.38A)
On high I guess it produces about 1000 lumens.
Side by side, you would notice the difference between 600 and 1000 lumens but in real life both are enough for a flood light.
However, you would have nearly twice the runtime with the 600 lumens version. The wow factor would be greatly reduced of course.
I plan to mod mine with 3x 219C, hoping to use the stock driver as it seem to have nice mode spacing and enough power.
If you don’t need a low mode the stock driver is quite good
