Yo guys. The quark AA body is way way overpriced. I forgot if it was $10 or 20. Im looking for any budget flashlight that the body fits on the quark X aa2 tactical.
Anyone have a clue? I know it is unlikely that someone has what I am looking for but we never know!

I never have Quark AA, only Quark Mini 123. Do they have the same thread size for head?
If they have the same size, you can use body of Ultrafire C3 and its extension tube.
Here’s the head of Quark Mini 123 fit onto Ultrafire C3’s body & extension, also tailcap.
I hope Quark AA also have the same thread size.
BUT…
The cost would almost the same, $8 or $10 for Ultrafire C3 and around $5 for body extension.
Blah. Guess i’ll skip on that and try to start getting into modding
I have the 2AA tactical and the turbo x with the xpg and has bigger head
both have the same threads and tailcaps swap too

I found that the pd20 fenix body fits the heads of these . my fenix pd20 is the older version // with an xre and the threads are regular shaped thread same as the quark . It makes for a cool little light with a wide head .
SoI went to illumination supplies garage sale to snag a few dollar fenix bodies .even if only for the clicky or to add to a sale with the quark lights ..why not ..?
The pd20 bodies came yesterday with a bunch of Nichias and some other toys The treads are square on these ..So i'm assuming they are the newer fenix bodies ...they actually still thread onto the head but I think there is a littel edge that needs to be flied down to make these work...
Anyway they work on the pd20 head and the older body is happily hanging out on my turbo head .
If you have one of these 4/sevens lights I suggest you spend the buck .

Yeah it fits the xAA and the tactical.... the one with the big head (turbo)is the only one that would need the little lip knocked down . It's a no-brainer for a buck and good reasons to go buy more nichias .Even at 6$ international shipping it's cheap
shipping for three bodies and some emitters was just a few bucks
Now I need to get over to fenix and buy some clips ...
Hum is it worth getting an AA body to run a 14500….I hear the brightness is regulated and the quark wont produce higher output than the 280 (420 self built lumens)…But still its pretty impressive for such a small form factor.
