My understanding is that it would not. My understanding is that the different leds could actually cause a drop in overall CRI. I have built a few mixed triples with 219b sw40 x 2 and sw45k x1 and the opposite and while the color temp changed in the combined beam, I do not have the equipment to test CRI. Also, the warmer the color temp, the lower the output. This would be visible between the 3000k and 5000k, I am not sure how different the 4000k would be from the 5000k, but it would still be less at the same drive current.
