Just a thought I had

Ace beam p17 high mode seems to start at 2000 lumens for like 10 minutes and then drops down to like 1600, is there any relatively easy way to limit this to a 1000 lumens?

I really like this light, but I wish I had a thousand lumen mode without me having to go to 2000 and then wait for it to step down, it’s just sapping the battery when I don’t want it to be doing that

Perhaps reflashing the firmware or something ?

Also for those of you who have this light already, have you tested the light on the high mode for the entire duration of the battery?

Does it get too hot to hold on the 2000 lumen mode after about 40 minutes to an hour?

Refering to 1Lumen review; your p17 High mode maintain over 1500 lm close to 11minutes and maintain a bit over 1000 for 1hour 45 minutes, that is good regulation if battery drains worries you

You did not read everything I wrote I said I do not want to go to 2000 lumens every time I want to go to high mode

I want the thing to have a 1000 lumen mode

I did read everything you wrote, just show you you’re not getting 2000 lumens stated in the box for your high mode, so nothing to worry about, take that as a 11 minute of extra 500 lumen bonus.
