That makes sense. I wonder if the beaded optics are just clear optics with a beaded texture, or if they have different internals. With frosted optics it’s easy to tell (e.g., Carclo 10507 is different from 10508=10511), but with beaded it’s probably harder.
You will need a different mcpcb, Carclo 1062X and the Kingbrite quad optics aren’t interchangeable.

I’d recommend the D4V2 23mm Quad MCPCB for Carclo
Simon uses Kingbrite quad optics. I believe Fireflies also uses slighlty modified versions in their X4 and X4Q.

I’ve heard it’s the same optic as the Sofirn IF25A
Good news is that only 23.5mm of the diameter is optically effective, so I suppose one can sand that down the same way one does a 20mm optic to fit a T3, though the latter is quite lossy.

I never said it was losing much output, only that a good portion of the optic is covered. Also, I see you’re using a different optic than the Carclo 1062X I was referencing. It appears you are using a Kaidomain quad optic which has ~1.6mm smaller diameter.
