Hi! I think this is borderline as it’s not exactly a flashlight project, but it’s definitely LEDs and modding…

I’m in need of building a light (not portable) where there are 2 channels (spot and flood optics) and the switching function must be mapped to a different button than the on/off/control

Ideally with the click of this button, you go from flood to spot gradually (like the smooth anduril function), and the another click goes back to spot to flood.

is this something possible to do with an anduril driver or any other driver? or is it better to control it with Arduino?

Idk how but I’m assuming you would just code the MCU to do that, no? With PWM?

the gradual switching from flood to throw or vice versa would work. it should be same to the tint ramp mix anduril does. like instead of using 2700k and 5700k leds you would use flood leds and throw leds. what im not sure will work is the 2 button setup. i never seen anduril with on/off button and separate mode button.

just found out. actually wurkkos or sofirn has a tactical 2 button with Android.
