How hard is it to swap optics on the 50.3 and FFL707A emitter versions? Related is it possible to order all the optics with it from FFL?
I see example posts on reddit showing it off with the 50.3 and I see information on the 2903 but no comment how hard it is or where to source them.
Are there any downsides just swapping out optics (besides spending time and carrying them)? Can I make a X1S be similar to an E75 beam pattern?
The pattern of the optic pegs is different on all these optics, and as I understand, the Gaggione optics and the Jarmay optics use different MCPCBs to fit the different pegs, in so far as Jack has claimed. So swapping would require sanding off the pegs on the optics or using different MCPCBs most likely? Sanding the pegs off is pretty easy so long as you don’t mind it becoming harder to center the optics and risking destroying the optics.
