raccoon city relocation

So...

My family is moving from Porterville, California to Palm Desert, California.

If you know a little about Central and Southern California, this map will make some sense to you:

(Where did Los Angeles go?)

We plan to move on August 9th, 2014 but our move date has been extended before and can be extended again.

And it turns out that tons of Californians move in August, so getting a huge U-Haul truck might be tough.

Anyways, I am mostly packed, and I will be very happy once we're completely moved. :)

Good luck, moving is never nice…. Unless someone else is doing all the packing and lifting and all that goes with it for you….

You're going the wrong way and moving further from our store :P

Good luck with the move, the good news is you're closer to the beach cities. LA, SD, Irvine are all pretty awesome places.

Thank you!

Well, I have to pack my stuff, but I won't be doing any heavy lifting or driving, so I have it pretty easy.

Anywhere near Mt. Diablo?

Yeah, and I lived in San Jose from 1999 until 2005!

I love the beach but am deathly afraid of the ocean due to great white sharks.

Shopping in Palm Desert will be sweet.

avoiding zombie outbreak i presume?

And the other great thing about our day and age now is that it is real easy to stay in touch with the important people you will be moving away from! And you are sure to find some more great people where you are going…
Enjoy

C'mon, I work for Umbrella Corporation.

We'll take the zombies with us!

We have unlimited long distance on our home phone, so along with email, we have all the bases covered.

I am looking forward to making some new friends in Palm Desert. ;)

They dont eat much, plus theyre more scared of you than you are of them :stuck_out_tongue:

I admit that my fear is irrational, but I can't shake it. :_(

Plus there are other critters in the sea that I do not want to get anywhere near.

Maybe there is better food where you are going? I always do that when I move around Texas…try to be on the lookout for the new best joints to chow down. I find it can ease the stress of moving.

There are tons of places to eat in Palm Desert!

It'll take us a while to find the best place, so I have that to look forward to. :)

Will they have racoons where you will be setting up your new abode?

I'll have to bring the cute raccoons from my signature with me.

afraid of the ocean, you need to move to the midwest, just in case cali drops into the ocean, hehe

Maybe Indiana will fall into the ocean as well.

i am hoping for beach front property hehe.
