I bought some led strips from them but they sent me the wrong ones!! luckly the ones they sent me were much better and more expenseive than the ones i had ordered so im well happy
The funny thing about dinodirect.com I get Google adverts saying their prices are cheaper then DX, except as others have noted they're not. Not even close on most products...
I was wondering if you have any flashlights that you would be willing to give us for reviews. I'm also a member of LaserPointerForums and you recently had that event but for laser pointers. If you would let members of this forum review your service and products (pictures + video), I think word will quickly spread and more people will buy from you Just a suggestion.
Order placed Saturday, and they emailed me to say it shipped out Sunday. No tracking number (well the light was only $11.59) but the untracked ones often get here faster. If they are using HK Bulk post then it'll likely sit for a week or so in HK before it moves towards the UK. Looking good so far.
Ordered the Romisen RC-C6 on Saturday afternoon (probably Sunday in HK). Shipped out Sunday, arrived this morning. Now that is what I call quick!
Got what I ordered along with a couple of vouchers, one for $10 off an order of over $40 and one for $5 of an order of more than $20.
Also a sachet of "Colorful Crystal Mud". Will need to find my glasses before i can read what the packet says though.
Will review the Romisen in due course. Thus far, I'd say I'm very happy with DinoDirect. Not using HK bulk mail is a bonus for me but obviously costs the retailer more. You would expect this to be factored into their prices so it is a double bonus that this was cheaper than DX.
Whereas one using HK Bulk post, made it into the system on Tuesday is now saying will leave HK on Saturday (Which it will be in 41 minutes is in HK). The bulk mail is undoubtedly cheap but it is also slow.
However, a DX order from 25th July got posted on Tuesday 3rd August via HK bulk post and left HK on the 4th. Though no sign of it here yet. Maybe tomorrow - maybe not.
First impression of the light. "That's tiny"
Second impression, I prefer the screw to focus as with every camera lens in history.
Third impression, it focuses better than the others I have. Tightest focus, about 2m from the ceiling - the central part is way overexposed but I can clearly see the LED die on my ceiling.
Wow that's fast shipping! I've noticed that some packages that I ordered recently have been coming here pretty quickly, but it's still unpredictable. Looking forward to your review Don! I'm still waiting for my Romisen to come in.
I was impressed too. I think the record ever is 5 days and that was a DX order. Amazed that they got round to posting it, let alone getting it to me in that time.
In the early 80's I lived in southern Africa. This place was really the back end of nowhere. Once described by the national Tourist Board to my folks who were coming out to visit me; "Why do you want to go there? Nobody wants to go there!" which kinda sums the place up. Letters took 3 weeks each way. Except for one time when I posted a letter on Monday and got the reply on Friday. Which made all the others a bit confusing till I got them sorted by date.
But well done DinoDirect, HK Post and the Royal Fail oops Mail
I'm happy with DinoDirect's service but I'm not impressed with this post on Jayki.com which is copied and pasted from here. This is not IMO legitimate advertising.
