Hello, we have updated the firmware of RD6006 to V1.37, you can get these new functions by firmware update with PC software, but some customers still have questions about how to update the firmware and what are the differences, you can read this article to know, or watch this video:

First you need to use the PC software, connect the RD6006 to PC via USB connection, and choose Firmware update–click NOW and it will download the latest firmware.

After updating the firmware, please hold the 0 button and connect the input power to restore the factory setting, then you can use the new function.(do not forget to do this step)
Here are the new functions:
·add cut off current and cut off temperature for battery charging

·add output power limit to protect the load

·custom parameter display color

·add detail mode display besides the tradition mode and curve mode, and custom font style

·you can use left and right direction button to switch the display style at main page
·add Russian display

Hello, today we introduce the difference between RD6006/RD6012/RD6006P/RD6012P four devices, they are suitable for different people.

    Before we talk about the differences between RD series power supplies, let's see how the RD series power supply comes out.<br />

At first we just have DP, DPS and DPH series power supply, they are compact design and you can change the settings just by the encoder potentiometer, they work stable but with time going, our customers has new needs, they need Bigger screen, more convenient control mode, and more useful functions…

So that we released our first RD power supply RD6006, it is 60V 6A power supply, it has 2.4 inch bigger screen, keypad control, battery charging terminal, working status indication…

People like the new design, but they need higher current version, so RD6012 60V12A version comes out, they look similar, but the structure are different, and the resolution changes from 0.001A to 0.01A because it is 4 digit display, the ripple is a bit higher from 100mV VPP to 250mV VPP.

Some customers need higher resolution, and the ripple should be reduced as low as possible. So we released RD P version power supplies, you can consider them as the update version of normal power supplies. You can see the structure of them a totally different, we add linear power supply structure so that the ripple reduce a lot, it is 20mV VPP.

Besides, RD6012P has 2 ranges, you can switch between 6A and 12A, when it is set to 6A range, you can treated it as a RD6006P, there is no difference.
From RD RD6006P, we use new setting page, compared with old RD power supply, they have these new functions:
