So I am waiting on my Convoy L6 to arrive in the mail and am trying to find the best performing 26650 cells. Initially I was looking at the KeepPower 6000mAh 26650 but it has a diamater of 69mm and a usere here said that his is a vary tight squeeze.
What 26650 cell would you recommend to use in an L6 that gives the best performance?
Diameter of 69mm? I think you are mixing up longitude and latitude.
But I also think you have asked this question before and it was (IMHO: correctly) answered.
A few weeks ago I checkeda 6000mAh Keeppower against a 5000mAh Liitokala i the same direct drive host and at least when fully charged the Liitokala provided a bit more current and output.
My Zanflare C4 tested a new pair of the black Liitokalas overnight— and it probably has an “optimistic” reading with Cell #1 shown at 5675mahs and cell #2 at 5725mahs. But they easily hit the 5k spec here in any case and I wish I had a light that would put these Liitokala’s to the test. :smiling_imp: But my Sofirn SP33 will run for days on this battery— and I have two to use for this light. :+1:
So I have found my new camping/hiking light here as it’s not gigantic or heavy, has excellent run time (compared to any other light I own) and still fits into the lower pocket of my hiking shorts/pants and front flap of my pack. I LOVE my several C8’s but for a slightly smaller package (without the bulge of a C8 head), this battery/light combo is smaller and more portable. Output and throw isn’t much compromised from my comparisons to most of my C8’s too— I like this medium sized “combo”!
With this Liitokala The SP33 has a nice, neutral beam and it seems to keep up quite well with the C8 gang actually— a good ergonomically balanced design really. The 26650 also fits PERFECTLY into the SF33, which I don’t think will see another 18560 from here on-out. Not too shabby for a pair of batteries that cost $9 shipped from the Liitokala AE store (taking three weeks to get to me) and a light on super sale (I think $18 back in Feb) at the Sofirn AE store (taking 4 weeks to get to Kansas USA). But patience is rewarded with this final pairing of two fine products I came up with this evening.
