I recently make a 'floody' light with convoy S2+ host, and I plan to try something new, to make a 'throwy' flashlight. I hope to use new osram led which is good for throwy beam. But I still want flashlight to be compact.
Original I think of using Sk98, but I hear it is bad flashlight as host. Then I found that convoy c8 and emisar d1 are recommended, but they use reflector not zoom lens.
May anyone here have suggestion on which single cell (18650 or similar) host I can use?
Mountain Electronics sells the Ultrafire Uf-T20. It is a reasonably small Aspheric zoomie and it gets decent reviews. It is just about as large as a pocket able light can be.
