I love my HL01 but it’s just too big and heavy as a head lamp, so I thought I’d buy an 18350 battery for it and use the short tube. Any suggestions for which one to buy? Protected/unprotected, flat top/button top? I’ve bought from mountain electronics and Illumn before but not sure what to buy. Any help appreciated!

I looked in the manual that came with the light but it just goes over Anduril. No mention that I can find as to what kind of 18350 to buy

Finally found this info on the Banggood website for the HL01:

Battery: 1x 18650 or 1x 18350 Li-ion Battery (Not included)
(Note: must use unprotected flat top 18350 battery)

So… I’m looking at the 18350 Vapcell INR18350 F14 1400mAh 3A Flat Top

What? Is that the wrong battery? It’s why I posted here… The website says max 3A

I don’t know how many amps your flashlight needs,
If in turbo it needs more than 3 amps, I would buy the 18350 10A vapcell.

No problem, thank you for the reply. I don’t know the amp requirement, but I seldom use the turbo mode anyway.

if you don’t use turbo mode often, vapcell 3A is ok.
