The HD2010 seems to be a front runner but something with a more current emitter would be preferred. Thanks for the suggestions.
hmmm, there’s really not much.
you’d have to get a king kong flat top, but I love this light, its not going to out throw an hd2010 though

here’s hanks full range of 26650 lights, all four of em lol
Warsun et26 looks promising.
Yep, I have that light and the KK cell but hate how the fit is so loose without a DIY holder. I have just ended up using AA cells since it is a nice light.
I like the look of the ET26 and $30 at WB seems reasonable. Thanks for the tip.
How about the Shadow SL3 with XM-L2 emitters? The quality is great and the performance is decent for such a small light. Only about 1300 OTF lumens but it throws very well. You may want to add a solder blob or a short spring to the anode connection on the driver. There can be some flickering if you leave it flat.
What about the D26 Whale? You probably already have one of those I'd imagine, since you sell them. How is it? I haven't heard much of anything about them.
The D26 is a great light. Nice and bright with above average throw. Being a dive light it is good bit heavier then a normal single cell light so not ideal for an EDC above the water.
Interesting I am a sucker for a nice throwing light, a few dollars more than what I was thinking of spending but more than reasonable for multi-emitter.
You mentioned EDC, there’s THIS: Loading...
Only 99mm long…might be cool, though Ric said it wasn’t much for throw.
I just ordered this one from DealExtreme Raysoon F13 Looks interesting and the fins make it look capable of handling an extreme mod. Had some Moli 26700’s so I figured why not?
Edit: Essentially a Shadow JM07 Pro
This.
The interface is kind of whack, but as long as you aren’t using it in a tactical situation, there’s really no reason to get wrapped around the axles about it. It is a fantastic light. I haven’t had any problems using flat top batteries with mine. I also have not had any length issues with 26650’s or 18650’s.
Here are some tailcap readings I took with the light on full blast:
4.41A w/ MNKE IMR 3500mAh 26650
4.51A w/ King Kong unprotected ICR 26650
3.53A w/ Trustfire protected ICR 26650
3.92A w/ Redilast protected Panasonic NCR18650B
4.51A w/ Samsung INR-1865020R
In my cart lol. Just decided what else I might”need”!
The SL-3 has a low voltage warning, so it is safe® to use with unprotected cells. I don’t know if a protected King Kong ICR will fit it, but if you want to try, here you go:

Personally, I would probably go with an MNKE 3500 IMR to be on the safe side. Also, it would ship from California, so you wouldn’t have to worry about it being held up in customs by the Chinese like they are doing with lithium ion batteries right now:

Thanks for the links. I am well supplied w/26650 which is why I am looking from some new lights. I have unprotected KK cells from IOS along with protected XTAR and soon (see my GB ;)) KeepPower.
