Recommended driver for C2 upgrade

Hi guys,

I’m new to flashlight modding, but I’ve been wanting to upgrade my old C2 with a warm white XML T6 ( 4.66€ 16% OFF|CREE Einzel die XML XM L T6 10 Watt Warmweiß 3000 Karat 900LM LED Strahler Birne Montiert auf 20mm Stern PLATINE|cree xml 10w|led emitter10w cree xml - AliExpress ) which I’ve just purchased.
I’m now looking for recommendations regarding what driver would be best to get full potential from the emitter. I’ve checked out a few that look good but most put out 2.8A, I was looking for a bit more than that, ideally 3.0A.

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

where are you located? If in the us, I recommend mtnelectronics.com

you can select the modes you want, without those stupid blinkies (unless you want them)

regarding the 2.8/3.0a versions: you will not really notice a .2a difference at that drive current.

Thank you for your advice! I live in the UK so I ordered a 2.8A driver from DX.com. It seems to be exactly the same as the one you recommended and I’ll probably set it to low-med-high, not a big blinky fan either!
