I have used up my last Straw with AliExpress and the run-around
the only two orders i received from them were wrong, and now they billed my credit card duplicate three times for the same order yesterday for a third order attempt, and when i asked for assistance all i received is emails in a foreign language unreadable on this planet.
The second order was a flashlight that fell apart when i opened the package, and the only message i received from them is: “don’t worry about that, you can fix it by yourself.”
Like OL, i’m loosing faith on some of these foreign sellers.
This is not good news at all. Please keep us posted on these matters. They are serious and not to be tolerated from an organization intrusted with handling financial transactions.
Please confirm if the problem is with the seller, Aliexpress, or both. If it's Aliexpress, that's a big one since they plan on doing a huge IPO very soon.
Is it AliExpress that is the cause of the trouble, or is it the vendor? Remember that AliExpress is not the seller, they are the market where the seller is able to reach buyers. They’re the third party that handles the transactions. So, I want to know which you are having trouble with. If it’s the vendor, we need to know which one it is. If it’s AliExpress, then that is very serious indeed.
Ali doesn’t actually release the funds to pay the vendor until the buyer is happy.
Look into your account further…there are links to click if you received the merchandise in good condition and as promised several steps along the way.
You can also contact the vendor directly and document every message.
You can also file a dispute if there is a problem.
If you do nothing to notify Ali, they assume all is well.
In the US, by CC policy, and by law we have 90 days, I think, to dispute an unauthorized charge on a CC, but I’ve never waited that long. It’s US Consumer Protection Laws…I’m not sure about the policy or laws for you guys in Canada.
