Refernece lights for compairsons

I've been thinking about building a few lights to be used as a standard / reference to compare my builds to. I'm mostly building lights for other people these days so I dont have them all on the shelf to compare new ones to, I actually only own about 15 lights myself and only a few of them are common ones). I also just picket up a olight SR51 XM-L2 so I figure that should be in the mix (its rare I buy a production light).

I'm thinking a handful of different lights, possibly a couple throwers, a general purpose light and a heavy flooder. Any recommendations on what to pick to be able to show what a lesser known light does when I'm done with it? I dont really want to use a maxxed out SRK or anything thats going to way overpower the lights I'm comparing to, the goal is to sell lights here lol.

I figure one needs to be a C8 at ~4A (and then set the levels for say 2.4A and 3.03A) because of how standard they are and maybe an SRK (but at what power level)? What else do you think would be a good light for this purpose? Do you think something more EDC'able would be good to use for this, maybe a convoy tube light (S2/S3/S6 ect...) Or do you think I shouldn't use built lights and instead only unmodded big-name brand lights (I dont have many and that could be expensive)?
