Reflowing LEDs in Wurkkos HD12

I got HD12 and I like the light but I find the tint and CRI rather muddy. I’ve never done any swapping and have no tools for it, but I found a person here in Thailand that will do it for me.

I’ll buy the LEDs from Convoy. But I wonder if someone could comment on what to buy.

The lights I have with the tint I like are HS21 Flood and FC11C 5000K, with the latter’s Nichia 519a being a little less pinkish than the HS21. I like them both.

I was thinking of buying 2 Nichias 519a in 5000K, but are there other choices that would work well with HD12? Should I expect the 519a from Simon to be similar in tint to FC11C? The 4500K are out of stock - is that permanent? Does it make any sense to mix CCT - one in 5000K the other in 4000K?

Also, would 519a have similar forward voltage to the original LEDs , and if not, how differently it will be driven by the driver?

Is mixing the colour temperature of two emitters even a good idea? Somebody must have tried it…

If less pinkish is a good thing for you then tint mixing might not be ideal, the resulting tint will be more pinkish than both primary sources. I like my tints as neutral as possible, so i would choose a LED in the intended CCT and use it in both pads.
