Has anyone here modded a Thorfire VG15S? Its light suddenly dimmed even when the battery is good and even replacing the battery, I think it may already be dying on me so I thought I could still use its case and just replace the emitter and/or lens? The problem is I couldn’t figure out how to remove the lens, I couldn’t find any tutorial on how to remove its lens. Anyone who could be of help?

I wanted to post pictures but I couldn’t figure it out even when trying the “!” as stated in the guide.
Maybe re-read the guide. 
It’s not too tough to access the lens/emitter!
You just need something grippy like a jar opener, mouse mat, or strap wrench to grab the thin silver bezel and unscrew it.
After that, you’ll have to diagnose the issue.
One way to see if the LED is still good is to use one of those 3xAAA holders and attach leads to the two ends. That should give you just about the right voltage to direct-drive the LED.
If it’s not the LED, then you’ll probably want to shop for a replacement driver.
Thank you, I was able to open the bezel, I didn’t know that was the right place to open, it is my first time to open it.
Upon testing, it looks like the LED is dying, it is still very dim even when directly attaching a fresh 18650 battery to it. What do you guys recommend as replacement? Do I need to replace the driver also?
