I’ve read the posts here about the current drain on the Skyray King flashlights, and it’s an issue for mine.
Currently I unscrew the body from the head (about 2 turns) and that prevents the issue.
Is there a more permanent fix?
Thanks!

You should look for another driver but with sideswitch you’ll always have current drain imo.
Ok im new so can you please, explain the drain ?
Torches with electronic switches have a constant flow of current running through them from the installed cell / cells.
It’s like a television on standby. It’s not on, but it’s drawing electricity from your power supply - always at the ready to receive the command to turn on.
It’s not a fault that you ‘fix’. It’s just how an electronic switch works.
Think of taking the cells out of your torch as turning the standby off on your tele.
Thanks for explaining that .dosent that also control the memory on some models too ?
The driver controls the modes. You can take a cell out of a lot of torches, reinstall it, and the last mode memory will still “remember”.
