Replacement similar to Emisar D4s v2

Looking for suggestions on a new light with similar output to my Emisar d4s. I think it had xml high led 5000K unless there was led slightly warmer at the time.

Wasn’t my edc but the light I reached for constantly. It would light a wide area and fairly far not being a thrower.

All my good 26650 cells are gone and the last i purchased are worthless.

To sum up looking for similar light. Can be a little larger if need be. A plus would be usb c rechargeable.

I’m haven’t kept up on the newer led’s comparable. Have read only a little on 519 or 519a domed or de- domed if i remember right.

If you really like the D4S, they still make it.

Also what do you mean your 26650s are all gone.

Well i accidently through away my high amp 26650’s in a park trash receptacle with no access. Long story and something stupid i don’t like admitting.

The last 2 i purchashed from lion wholesale were lower amp and don’t hold a charge long at all.

Don’t know if D4S and D4SV2 have the same tubes, but if so then you can turn your D4S into a 21700 flashlight.

A sofirn sp36 might do the job. Its a little larger with 4x 18650 cells instead of the 26650, and has USB-c charging built in.

If you don’t mind the switch to 21700 check out the fireflies X4 or E04 surge.

Hey thanks everyone for the suggestions. I will look at all the other different suggestions and wiil probably get at least 1.

For now I will purchase the 21700 tube. I’m guessing the original tailcap fits.

I have been wanting some 21700 lights anyway. Have to upgrade my charger to handle 21700 cells but have wanted one with more then 4 bays anyway so its time.

I didn’t realize 21700 had such high amp cells. I will search for something with highest capacity that can do at least 20Amps. I think thats what my good 26650 cells were rated. I don’t remember what my d4s V2 was rated for with the xml high led’s

I would recommend the Molicel P50B, it is one of the few available high-current 21700s with a nominal capacity over 5Ah

Yeah, think I will get at least 1 of those Molicel P50B’s.
It looks like the best 21700 available. Only con i see is the price but supposedly it has a longer cycle life which may justify the price in the end.
