I must add, mine developed the same disease, but was replaced by Acebeam with a different 18650. Also with charging port and 3100mAh.
The E70 standard had horrible parasitic drain. I twisted the head to disengage the battery. Nothing to do with the battery.
If you say so, then it must be true. But I always keep my flashlights with head/tail twisted off. Maybe not in this case. On the other hand, someone reported earlier that after replacing the battery, the new cell was not discharging on its own.
The drain happens over the course of months. Did he measure the drain after few months or a few hours.
I remember my battery was draining faster than in a few months. It was discharged in a month. Maybe the high drain of E70 was combined with faulty battery
