Review: ACEBEAM K75

Thank you for your comprehensive and valuable review of this king of throw.

I received my K75 26 hours ago, and I am happy with the performance increase over the TN42.

My observations: Compared to X65: Narrower beam, but throws further.

Compared to TN42: Some more of everything. Some more emitter, some more head diameter, some more beam width, some more throw, some more light on the target.

Insane flashlight, high output super thrower… For now my x65, tn42 just collecting dust. Disadvantage - x65 battery pack won’t fit properly. Battery pack would be great.

My TN 42 collecting dust, but X65 still has more beam width than K75, even though K75 has more distant narrow target definition than K75.

My X65 battery pack appears to fit properly and fit electrically in the K75.

Electrically it works. But you can damage K75 head sealing surface, so be careful. Overlap is only 0,3mm , small enough to damage aluminium parts.

My X65 battery pack appears to fit properly and fit electrically in the K75.

I also use the X65 battery pack in the K75. You can buy the X65 battery pack on Ebay or BHPhotovideo. The charger is an ASUS 19V 3.42A 5.5mm plug that you can buy from Ebay.

What about the switch of the K75?I see that it is spongy and way below the big Imalents’ switch.No clicks.I don’t like it.

It is strange that no one complained about the very short turbo run time in Power mode. After a few seconds, the lumens are reduced to less than half and certainly also the throw. The two Power and Eco modes are misleading. Practically the behavior of their turbo levels is the same! Just look at the reviewer's chart.
Much better is the behavior of the most recent BLF GT-90, with the same LED, whose turbo lasts at least 15 mins. and the performances are even higher than the K75. Look at the video review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQBDrNKyWKY

Today,I put a new set of Sony high drain batteries,putting the 30Qs already used,in a Astrolux MF04.After that,I checked the beams of the two lights,and I saw that in strobe mode,the MF04 is way better than the K75.For defence I mean.

Hi, I have used Acebeam protected cells from 3100 mAh, they are excellent batteries. The Samsung 30Q (button top) work well.
