Features / Value: ★★★★

I couldn´t resist to test these AAA LSD batteries which are cheaper than the other ones I have (GsYuasa Enitime)

For 6.30$ you have 4xAAA LSD batteries with a capacity of 850mAh, which I consider very good for the price.

OK let´s take my Imax and test their capacity.

Then, I will try to do a long-run test, long-time capacity measurement to see how much they can hold.

Design / Build Quality: ★★★★★

Not much to say. They seems to be better manufactured than the GsYuasa tested by me. At least, the labeling...

They doesnt have any "venting" hole, or they are "hidden".

Capacity test: ★★★★★

I have used my Imax B6 to test them. Take into account that, I still dont know to use it completely, and I have issues with the "delta peak" charging Ni-Mh batteries, so...

The procedure of charging and discharging has been made in this way:

Discharge: 0,2A down to 0,9v

Charge: 0,2A up to fully charged (some problems with the "delta peak" and the Imax, but not due to to batteries itself, I still trying to solve that issue... maybe the nedymiun magnets and the springs I use with the imax...)

The first pack has this measurements of voltage:

When received (charged from factory): .
After the first charge:.................
After a day (first cycle):.................

- First discharge test (charged from factory)

BToneAAA 1 --- 0,2A 0,8v --- 264 mAh
BToneAAA 2 --- 0,2A 0,8v --- 271 mAh
BToneAAA 3 --- 0,2A 0,8v --- 267 mAh
BToneAAA 4 --- 0,2A 0,8v --- 280 mAh

What do they call "precharged"?

- Second discharge:

BToneAAA 1 --- 0,2A 0,8v --- 773 mAh
BToneAAA 2 --- 0,2A 0,8v --- 772 mAh
BToneAAA 3 --- 0,2A 0,8v --- 767 mAh
BToneAAA 4 --- 0,2A 0,8v --- 763 mAh

At this moment, they have performed better than the GsYuasa, at least in capacity...

- Third discharge:

BToneAAA 1 --- 0,2A 0,8v --- 793 mAh
BToneAAA 2 --- 0,2A 0,8v --- 801 mAh
BToneAAA 3 --- 0,2A 0,8v --- 783 mAh
BToneAAA 4 --- 0,2A 0,8v --- 776 mAh

Capacity is growing up. I need to give them 2 cicles more. But my Imax is busy testing all the batteries I received recently...

Low Self Discharge test: ★★★★★

I will try to test them after a year resting with no use. I will try to keep at least 2 of them without being used. Completely charged and not used in a year, then check their voltage and their capacity after a discharge test in the Imax.

In a short-time period, lets say a week, they seem to keep the charge very well.

FYI, no load voltages were:

1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 months (1.325v, 1.316v, 1.310v, 1.307v, 1.306v, 1.303v)

Measured capacity - 801mAh

Remaining after six months - 687mAh

So it has about 86% of it´s capacity still available after 6 months.

Summary: ★★★★

Very good AAA batteries with high real capacity and good LSD results. Good for the price if you can not pay for Eneloops.

100% recommended

No comments? Thanks for the review fran.

You are welcome!

The LSD results were posted in another thread....... with more batteries

Thank you fran!

Nah.. you are welcome

I have to update the thread of LSD results
