The MR26 is the newest innovative light from Fitorch which features its unique ergonomic triple tail paddle switch with lock feature.

Operation:
From OFF:
-1 click the Main tail clicky to turn ON
-press and hold any of the paddle switch to go to strobe (make sure the rotary lock is on the UNLOCK position)

From ON:
-press the paddle switch to change modes (make sure the rotary lock is in UNLOCK mode) - TURBO->HIGH->MID->LOW->ECONO

Form Factor:
The light is very ergonomic and fits well in hand. It is very well machined from head to tail, with high quality materials. The design of the light to interchange the filters
is well enough that it doesn't compromise waterproofness.

Head:
The head comes with a silver detachable strike bezel that is fairly aggresive.

It houses the filters if you opt to put one depending on the situation or your preference. It also has deep polished smooth reflector for a more throwy profile.

The deep cooling fins are ample enough and helps with heat dissipation.

On one side, you can find the micro usb charging dock which also has an LED indicator light to easily show the user the remaining battery life.

Inside is the driver with a gold spring installed instead of a contact plate.

Barrel:
The barrel is one with the head, it has parallel knurling design with two flat surfaces alongside which clearly shows the brand written and model of the light.

It also has a black stainless steel clip which is not reversible.

The threads appear to be triangular and not anodized with the o-ring installed and well lubricated.

Tail:
The tail on this light is unique as it has a triple tail switch, the main switch to turn ON the light, and the two paddle switches on either side for ambidextrous operation.

There is also a rotary mechanical lock for the paddle switches to avoid accidental turn ons.

Inside the tail is two thin gold springs and like the barrel, the tail threads are not anodized.

It has two large enough holes for lanyard placement, the main tail clicky button has a dotted pattern for grip, and the two paddle switches has embossed small rectangular grooves for grip. The tail also has similar parallel knurling to match the barrel. Due to its tail switch design, it is impossible for this light to do a tail stand.

Conclusion:
To sum up, I believe that the most important part of any review is if given the chance to purchase the same light for my own EDC, would I still purchase it?
For this light, it is a definite YES. Specially if you are looking for a complete tactical light with complete unique functions depending on your usage and needs.
Scrutinizing the light over throughout the review, I am hard pressed to find any flaws at this price point. If I were to nit-pick, it would be the rotary mechanical lock, my copy has a rather loose rotary lock, and me having large hands, accidentaly turns the lock whilst changing modes, therefore making it difficult to change the modes. Another would be the battery which is only 2800mah, for a 1800 lumen output light, I think that is not enough maybe the bare minimum would be 3000mah cell. And lastly that is worth mentioning is that this light doesn't heat up quickly on TURBO, well not for me anyways as I am living in a tropical climate. But against most 18650 lights I have tested lately, I can say that this is worth mentioning. Definitely a bang for the buck given all the features and capabilities of this light. Fitorch really made good on this one! Kudos to that!

Excuse me but where is the side switch? The manual also talks about a side switch but I don’t see one

There is none, only a tail switch. Maybe the manual was referring to the paddle switches at the side of the main tail clicky
