[Review] NIGHTWATCH Avaritia 10 (A10) - the cheapest way to 65000 lumens!!!
Interesting results on the shutdown. Not encouraging at all. Especially seeing that the temperatures you measured were not that high. Plus it seems that you got it to run on turbo for 12 minutes during those tests ???
12 seconds! It did 20 secs on a 2nd test
OK. I was looking at the test where you started on turbo and it stepped down to ~ 3700 lumens and ran for 12 minutes getting to only 43 degrees at the head.
It is strange and real disappointing that it completely died and wouldn’t turn back on after what seems to be only 64 seconds and only a few of those on turbo.
BTW, in the intro you mention “variable temperature control”. I didn’t see you talk about that any further. How does that work?
Seems to work a bit like Nitecore ATR. Increasing output automatically as the flashlight cools. There’s a stated 55C step down and 65C turbo lock. These must be driver temps and and there’s probably 75C flashlight lock, etc.
