Can you test the new GaN charger from Anker? Supports PD up to 30W and it’s minuscule.

There are alternatives from Ravpower and Aukey to new GaN chargers, too.

Oh my  God! I recently assembled two of these power banks (with cells soldered) and just noticed the circuit comes stock configured for 4.35V cells!
I have a spare circuit board lying around, measured 4.33V open circuit voltage, confirmed.
Just adviced my two owner friends of this issue, gonna have to carefully open those boxes. They've run just one cycle to 4.35V and they're built with resilient 35E cells, fortunately.
Who's the #@%@$ who decided such stock output voltage configuration? The majority of 18650 cells in the market are 4.2Vmax cells, even if we only take into account energy cells.

So you can donate some predefined amounts to the projects in the above page to get the product with a more or less equivalent discount. Example: $89 contribution to get the product at 40% of the $149 retail price ($148,60 total). The $99 contribution gets you a worse deal (34% of retail price or $149,66).
It's sooo cheap!

Aliexpress: FLOVEME QC3.0 Quick Universal Charger For iPhone Samsung S8 7 Mobile Phone Charger For Xiaomi Huawei 18W Fast EU Adapter Charger
Looks good on paper.
I have searched this forum for FLOVEME Chargers, seems none of them have been tested yet. Looks good on paper, very economical, and I’ve only gotten one USB cable from them and it seems decent quality. But I don’t have the testing expertise or equipment you do!
Am curious how well this will test.
Seems to be made by JIAYU ELECTRONICS. No reviews found anywhere online on this manufacturer.

I came across this on EBay and wondered if people here might be interested:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1x-Single-Cell-Lithium-Battery-Boost-Power-Module-USB-Phone-Charge-Circuit-Board/292783887734
It’s a Li-Ion to USB booster board that’s supposed to have QC2.0 / QC3.0 built in. Might have potential for DIY powerbank projects in conjunction with a TP4056 board and a decent cell or two…
I’ve ordered a sample, but I don’t have the equipment for an HKJ-grade review. I’m basically going to plug a QC2.0 / QC3.0 trigger board into it along with a variable load module and see if the magic smoke comes out while I monitor it with a multimeter

Works fine up to 4,5V.
Maybe I should’ve done a review for it…

I bought a ZMI (supposedly the OEM for Xiaomi) 65W HA832 charger that is working well for me to charge both my Lenovo Yoga at 45W and my iPhone but am curious as to how it works under test conditions.

No need to test the 4th one.
Already have it, tested its capacity, its protocols, etc.
Want to know anything about it?
