The flashlight was sent to me by Speras for review.

The Speras E21 comes in a nice cardboard box.
Here’s a closeup of the rear of the box containing the different modes and features of the light.
The box contains the following accessories:
- User manual.
- Adjustable wrist lanyard.
- USB Type C to USB Type A adapter.
- USB Type C charging cable.
The Speras E21 comes with an integrated 21700 cell.
I got the Green variant of the light, which comes with this nice gradient anodization.
The body of the light contains deep grooving which helps with the overall grip.
The head of the light integrates a tactical bezel that’s also anodised to the colour scheme of the light.
Looking into the head, we can see a smooth reflector along with a Luminous SST40 emitter which is perfectly centered.
The light is operated via a dual position tail button.
Pressing the button operates the power delivery (on/off) to the driver.
Sliding the button from its outer diameter towards the middle will cycle through the modes of the light.
The lower portion of the head is where the charging interface of the flashlight lives.
A rubber flap is utilised to keep moisture and dust outside.
A regular USB Type C port is used as the charging interface of the Speras E21.
There’s a built-in indicator on the edge of the rubber flap that will illuminate during normal usage or charging to inform the user about the battery’s charge level.
The built-in 21700 cell charges with a maximum input current of 2A.
Conveniently, the flashlight can also be used a go-to powerbank.
Here it’s powering a device (electronic load) with 2A of current.
A removable, dual way pocket clip is also included with the flashlight.
The clip is very robust and provides great retention.
User Interface
The Speras E21 comes with a quite intuitive UI thanks to its dual operation tail switch.
Its switch can either be pushed vertically and slided horizontally (named sub-tail button on the user’s manual).
Its firmware contains two different operational modes: Tactical and Outdoor

Here’s my output measurements. Since the E21 comes with an integrated 21700 cell, it wasn’t possible to get current draw readings.
Please note that my measurements are taken at turn-on.
As we can see, the Speras E21 pushes almost 2400 lumen at turn on!
Mode spacing looks pretty good. I’d have liked to also see a sub-lumen mode.
Outdoor Beamshots
Finally, here’s some outdoor beamshots to demonstrate the flashlight’s throw capabilities and beam patter.
Overall the E21 provides a quite throwy beam with plenty of spill for a “tube” form-factor light!
Final words
All in all, I think the Speras E21 is a very nice tactical/daily light.
Its intriguing dual switch design is a bit difficult to grasp without having the light on yout hands, but overall I think it’s quite convinient once you get to use it. Its output is more than powerful for daily usage and its overall fit and finish is great.
