I was going through the reviews to update the Flashlight Wiki page which indexes all of them. It got me thinking that rather than do stickies in a sub-forum for each battery type, why not just throw all reviews in one forum with no stickies? That way the popular ones float up to the top. Maybe the title could include the battery type, so people know.

I say this because I think the user reviews here are fantastic, but they are kind of hidden now and the newest ones are hidden below pages of stickied reviews. This means the admin has to sticky them whereas if they were all in one forum, you wouldn't have to ever sticky them.

Thanks for the idea. I’m not sure if it would be a good idea to de-couple the reviews from their battery types. Unless we created another toplevel category for reviews and inside that re-create the battery type sub-categories.

As it is now, the commented reviews do come to the top, even in the sticky lists.
