The ReyLight Dawn Max is a thrower available with an FFL505A 3500K or an SFT40 5000K LED, an 18350 or an 18650 tube, and various titanium finishes. This particular torch has a Ti Stonewashed finish.

It produces a gorgeous beam.

The runtimes are good.

The head gets a bit warm (45 C) on 100% after 3 minutes.

And then it starts cooling down. It looks pretty cool after 10 minutes.

Its sad to see FET/linear drfiver in 2026 lights :frowning:

I find the 20% mode to be very practical when walking along a track for 30 minutes. The drop in output is barely noticeable.

The drop in output becomes more noticeable after about 2 or 3 hours of continuous use at 20%.

The design of the torches and materials used seem to make up for the driver.

Pineapple Mini is till my favourite :joy:
