So that’s what I’m about to go do. Pictures coming shortly.
I think these are underscoring the beams a little bit, but it’s still a fair comparison. Both of these shots were on 1 sec shutter and f/4.5 and ISO400. If you look at pictures a little to left or right, it will help some to view it better.
Jacob A60 350yds.
Keygos KE-5 350yds
Now I’m going to go take one with the M3X just to see how the Jacob A60 fairs with it.
Olight M3X 350yd same exact settings as above
How bout comparing a stl-v2 to those?
Ok here’s 120yds. Same settings as above.
Jacob A60
Keygos KE-5
It will be less than the M3X.
I have the FandyFire STL-V6.
I compared them the other nite, and could clearly see the M3X and T40CS beat it.
Thank you Brad, and sorry I kept asking for all different lengths of shots, but more great beamshots.
Well at least you didn’t order a pizza!
He has the FF- STL-V6
I really love my KE-5.
1000+ feet away, that is a long way to illuminate.
Thanks for including Jacob A60 in your comparisons.
I was very curious to see how it would compete against a good XM-L thrower.
I copied your above beamshots to desktop and viewed them in my picture viewer, toggling between them. That’s as revealing as the mouseover technique.
Your welcome. Now we know that the Jacob A60 will not out throw a good XM-L thrower like the M3X.
