There some interesting lights here. Some are a little pricey but might be easier to get a warranty claim out of a US based country.
Actually, they all kinds suck.Except for the lantern.

I bought a Luxeon RiverRock light about 5 years ago. It was a very solidly built light, but glued together and next to impossible to mod. I would buy one again in a second if it was XM-L and competitively priced. I had no complaints at all about mine, but the beam was dated;. It was a bluish aspheric, no hotspot, nice and defined spotlight.
I think Robo (Robostud2000) has modded a few of those.
i've only modded their old 2AAA headlamps - same as the Streamlight Enduro. don't have experience with any of their other lights.
for folks looking for cheap, Chinese made lights sold by a US made company, i say go Rayovac. they're cheaper and they have a true "no questions asked" replacement warranty.

I still have mine lol....yes it is outdated but mine takes 14500, dont ask me how, i just put one in and thought it was going to go poof, to this day it is still running strong but does get hot when used for long periods of time.
