thanks everybody for the warm welcome.man i just got my orders and after reading some of the reviews
i just ordered the hd2050. i think thats what it was.
got the fandy fire version of the king and love that
light.wanted one with some throw.
this light came in yesterday and is’nt working too well. flickers and sometimes wont come on.
got it at dx.hope theres an easy fix.I’ll search the archive
i emailed customer support last night
but havent heard back.

Welcome Trigger619. Look at the tailcap switch as the likely culprit for the flickering. You can easily check if it's the problem by bridging the rear of the battery to the body and seeing if the problem goes away. If it does, it's the switch, or more likely, the switch to tailcap contancts. Take it apart, clean it up, and reassemble. Should clear up the issue.

Welcome to the forum Trigger. Driver to pill connection is another solder point that can pop loose. Cleaning the threads and making sure the spring is tight also helps.
