Rusty's MUST GO Sale! (SOLD!!!)

Call it whatever, but in lieu of Rusty’s recent hard times, it’s again time to make some changes. I know I’ll never have a hobby-ending party since I’d burst and already want to add the new powerhouses to my collection (even on unemployment, I’m already buying some cheap newbies), but there are a few lights I’ve got here that just have to go.

As a minimalist, it assaults my senses to have things I don’t use pile up. That said, pictured below are the items I’d like to box up and sell—and I’ve already got the box and packaging ready. I don’t want to make this all fancy. If no one buys everything together (which I’m very much hoping someone will), just name what you want in a PM and it’s a CONUS first-come, first-serve.

The two Defiant XM-Ls are new, right out of the package. I got one as a gift for dad and one for me. Dad decided he didn’t want his and I don’t care for the beam profile myself. It’s wicked bright, but doesn’t seem to be very useful by way of its beam profile. The hotspot is too small, and despite everyone’s talking it up, it’s still too big to justify keeping. $40 for both or $20 for one since they are brand new (and by “brand new” I mean they have been shined around the yard once and up in the attic once).

The Coleman MC-E could be modded, the only obstacle being that it is locktighted. I don’t want anything for it. Way under-performer, ugly green beam, yuck! Do something with it! The big Yellow Vector spotlight one million candepower works, but is missing the powercord. Great huge reflector. Please just take it.

The CANSO is an XM-L zoomie that I simply have no need for, and the Skyray A0 clone is great, but I hate the mode memory feature. Excellent mod host, of course! I just never took to the light. Both of these have seen only one night of use on the job. I’ve had them for a while and they must go. They are basically new. Ever get that feeling where you wanna go crazy from thinking about what you need to do with something? Well, I have that feeling now.

Again, I’m looking to get rid of ALL of this stuff. I’m ebaying some other stuff, but basically, I just want to be done with these. The 6 AA-to-D battery holders are fine. But again, I just don’t need them. They are just an extra incentive!

Come on now, folks. Aside from enjoying a slushy Pepsi right now, it’s just unemployment and ebay sales, which, together with mom and pop, are helping me get my cousin’s security company off the ground (and, for once, maybe allow me to be at the top of a business instead of at the bottom)

I’m asking $65 shipped. The box and packaging is ready and I’ll make sure all is securely wrapped before sending. It would leave no later than tomorrow afternoon. If in 24 hours there are no buyers for the whole mess, I’ll take first-come, first-serve PMs for each item and we can do it that way. But starting today through tomorrow at this time, I am interested in selling all of these together.

Good luck with the the sale and all the best for the future Rusty Joe.

whats the stainless host? whats the battery config?

i may be interested in it depending on price. thats if you decide to split up the lot

you have mail

what kind of stuff are you selling on ebay? did the same thing when i was laid off. maybe some of us would be interested in your ebay items

Rusty, wish you luck in your sale. I am not in USA else I will buy from you just to help out.

is $65 for all of them?

I’ll take them.

Hang in there. I know the pain of unemployment too well. One year after a place I worked for relocated to another state and then 1 1/2 years after the next company went out of business. Temp work and unemployment got me through it. Best Wishes. PM be sent.

Thanks so much, all. The package has found a new home.

I would post the items from my ebay page from time to time, but in general don’t because any items I have that I think someone would be interested in here get posted here and never make it to ebay.

Anywho, I’m not done with getting the latest items up yet…

I do, however, have posted a set of ROP high and low bulbs.

wow so fast! Not sure if u noticed but a few of us have to drive like at least 60+ miles for our defiant XM-Ls. Also at that pricepoint it’s unbeatable, as well as it being a non-tailend clicky? it’s prefect for newbies.

Okay, I I wanna buy it but they won’t buy this model anymore.
