He had such great stories to tell
And everyone loved him as well

should be his epitaph
And he hid from us his private hell
In the darkness he tried not to dwell
But his sadness he just couldn't quell

He was a funny guy, I liked his movies
He will be missed…bummer
Had to read the whole article when I saw it on the yahoo page, seemed like a really good guy and a good actor/comedian.
My favorite was the movie Hook
First when I saw the topic thinking it was a joke until……It was true! I like him so much!

Its hard to believe that such an outstanding cherished person & comedic genus would take his own life. The man was loved by millions and received praise wherever he went. He’s also another sad statistic that proves the overwhelming feelings that many people suffer during their despair and inability to resolve it. Good bye Robin. I grew up laughing at and admiring the man.
I’m not exactly a celebrity guy, but that is really sad. It’s hard to think of him and not smile.
Sometimes life can just suck a little to much a little to long it seems. Something practically unlimited wealth, fame and a loving family cannot change in the moment.
He enriched the life of many in a way only very few people can achieve, thanks for that! 
You’ve made us laugh, you’ve made us cry. Heaven gained an angel today.

My favorite movie of his has got to be Patch Adams. A truly inspiring actor.
I’m not a celeb person at all… but I’m not gonna lie - I cried like a baby when I heard this news last night … so sad.

I feel for those tormented by depression, it is a heavy burden to live with….
Very sad news. I normally don't care about celebrities on a personal level, but the news of Robin's death really hit me hard. Extremely talented in both comedy and serious drama. He was a true down to earth human being. I'll miss him :(

Robin was wholly unique, as was his idol Jonathan Winters. Robin battled inner troubles throughout his life. I am so saddened by his passing. In some way he was Mork, a stranger among us, who felt he didn’t quite fit in and struggled w/ accepting himself.
The rumor is they found him like David Carradine, but I read that on a tabloid site. He always looked like he was about to jump someone from behind. He had the ultimate troll face even in old age. Remember him on Mork and Mindy too.
Why is genius always taking their own life and the snuffaluffagus end up with 12 clones just like themselves. Do we really need that many janitors? I think Robin Williams can finally rest in peace…
