The SAiK SA-305 from LT arrived ...man that throw has punch ... brighter than my c78 in throw mode... a lot brighter than the Skyray S-R5 in the very small hotspot. This is my first light with a larger reflector. Beam quality could be better... very visible CREE-Rings (or from the plastic reflector). Reflector and lens are plastic and not as described on the LT product page. Battery carrier quality is good. Mode memory with next-mode-problem, but there seems to be a trigger time, after that it has normal memory. Aluminum housing has a nice build quality with 2 fitting O-rings, but it isn't waterproof since there is a threaded hole for a camera tripod, it can tailstand. The cut-out for the lens is ~40.9 mm. The driver and the emitter base are both 20 mm and the whole pill can be unscrewed by hand. 16mm switch tailcap. Battery carrier rattles, if light is shaken (not stirred ;-) ). I thought about modding it with a collimator lens and/or with a warm white XP-G Q5 driven hard, but I have trouble unscrewing the bezel part that holds the reflector (might be glued) and the beam quality and mode memory does not justify an XP-G Q5. A SB 1400 mA driver (17mm) would not fit well, because the original driver is 20mm. Despite all that drawbacks, I would buy it again, just because of that punchy throw on standard batteries and that nice housing with black satin finish anodization. Threads are nice and came pre-lubed. It's surprisingly ergonomic to hold this light, even when it is on the large side and will never reach edc status. I paid 13.29 $ = 9.84 € for the light with a coupon. ("FLASHLIGHT")
