Samsung 40T color

Was wondering if anyone has seen the 40T in that light tan color. All of my other 40T’s are the light blue/ purple color.
Just got this cell in, and was curious if it is a new or old color that I haven’t seen on the 40T 21700.

Definitely a fake with that wrapper. Manufacturers code is not right. Just curious, what does the positive pole look like? Side by side comparison.

Mine are baby blue too…their legit… The 48G and the 30T are the same color…

Just got a response back from Illumn.

“I apologize for the confusion - we haven’t updated our website pictures but all our 40Ts are now this color. We have consistently been receiving cells of this color. ”

If a reputable seller like Illumn says the above it is very likely that 40T cells are now being manufactured that way. Manufacturers can change their wrap and can markings as they see fit. LG also applied some drastic changes to their wraps relatively recently.

Battery cells are technical and industrial products, their manufacturers have absolutely no interest or need to announce changes in their processes with any loud fanfare. It is pretty understandable.

First of all, I understand this is not your problem but it is overall better if you can share standard “www” AliExpress links. This is the standard, fuss free link for the above: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001119981096.html

The reason I say this is because stupid AliExpress insists in changing the site language of whoever clicks in these links, instead of following the user's language cookie. But well…

That C&P Official Store looks like a tool battery store; and as far as I can see everything matches, price included. I'd trust them, is all I can say.
