Some time ago I ordered a SRM HT-785 from here , the price was good but it took forever to arrive.
The knife arrived with the worst quality scales I have seen on a sanrenmu: the metal part was all chipped and the bone didn’t even fully cover the liners.
Looks better than the original. I just don’t like the look of bolsters on most folders. They always remind of cheap knives for some reason. That one piece scale makes the knife loom like something I would buy instead of cheap knife I wouldn’t.
I can see orange G-10 looking really nice on there as well.
That's a nice mod, I don't like the jigged bone look very much. Your version is much more gentleman's folder, very good looking knife.
I see that you have a SanRenMu GB-763, I have the LB-763 with the aluminium scales. The 763's are a superb little knife, one of the cheapest ways of getting into an Axis lock.
The LB-763 is one of the cheapest ways to get a Axis lock - the GB-763 or GA-763 (khaki G10) are really rare, because the discointinued since a longer time. You pay round about $20 for each.
I got mine from Amazon U.K. about 18 months ago, they had all three versions, cost about £9 each.
They are now on Amazon U.K. for about £19 - the GB and LB that is.
Exduct have run out it seems but they do have the Enlan/Bee EL-04MCT with Micarta scales for $17 shipped - Axis lock and Micarta scales and it's very like a Ritter Griptilian.
I've just checked and Amazon U.K. have a fair range of Enlan/Bee knives.
The Amazon policy in the U.K. is not to sell knives but some nivce ones slip through the net.
