Same here, only a bar of Cracker Barrel cheddar. Hadn’t had it in a while, now I recall why. Kind of an eerie aftertaste.
I actually quite like the cobblestone blocks of cheddar that Costco and/or Stop’n’Shop carry. That’s goooooood eatin’.
Tempted to make wino cheesecake. However much cream-cheese you want, fork-mix with ample sugar, keep going ’til it isn’t gritty anymore from undissolved granules.
Does in fact taste just like cheesecake minus the graham-cracker crust. The super-dense non-baked style of cheesecake, that is.
