OK, I looked really good, did a search on the site, and apparently CPF has removed their budget light sub-forum. When did this happen? I recall it being there last week.
I am not surprised if the decision was made to remove it, since pretty much zero of the brands discussed in that sub-forum were sponsors or contributors to CPF as a whole (read to mean: they didn’t make any money for the forum owner(s)).
Has anyone else noticed this? I would tend to think that this would cause a small-medium influx of new or returning members to this site (which is much better in terms of discussing budget/value/inexpensive lights).
Yep, that was it. New laptop, no saved credentials. So I was not yet logged in.
So strange that of all the forums they have, the Budget Forum is the one that is not view-able unless logged in. I wonder if they are trying to make it non-searchable by non-members… since I am sure they want to limit the activity and popularity of that forum and its contents.
I believe you are spot on. One of their mods even terminated a discussion thread when our BLF A6 busted out and made history. It was sending cpf traffic over here..hahahhah Said it needed to go to a DEALER thread...yeh, right Just goes to show ya.
I was just reading through that thread today about the BLF A6, - then found Greta’s take-over reply closing the post with her iron-fist in a nazi fashion, sneering over the thread like a banshee.
It’s a vision thing……you can’t find the budget forum there unless you tilt your head back, point your nose in the air and sneer. Give a haughty downward glance and there it is!
But for crying out loud, don’t let it be known you peeked!
