I was hoping the Lumintop 14500 with USB-C port would fit. Their store listing says 50.2 mm. I wonder if it’s possible to file the button down a bit, or if that’s a bad idea.

For now, I’ve ordered a Vapcell H10 14500, which is listed at 48.60 mm.

Gone for a D2 with W1 and 519A 4500K dedome.

That is super cool, it would be perfect in a D4S host/optic for the throwier optics and larger thermal mass. Maybe with a 26800 tube, a P45B, and a spacer to keep the battery in place and connected. Shame nobody makes >30A 26650 and 26800 batteries.

I think @SammysHP added in Lockout 5H for momentary Top of the Ramp.

Does it NEED flat top?
I understod a button top with regular length should work fine. And only batteries over 50mm damage the light.
( With the current text I do understand people get the impression “a button top 14500 damage the lamp”)

Maybe @Hank_Wang can specify the maximum cell length?

Also it would be nice if Hank would note if channel 1 near the button or channel 2 .

Yeah just like that but with the extra throw of the D4sv2 optics would be better. But I don’t know how lower forward voltage would affect the amount of current being drawn I remember on the spec sheet of being quite low.

Anyone know what the outer and inner diameters of the cell tube are? I’m not too optimistic, but I’m hoping there’s enough room to bore out the tube and shorten it for a 16340. It looks like a cool light but it sure is long.

For the D2, the beam profile is a bit squarish for the dedomed 519A, SST-20, W1/W2 with the clear/spot optic, it may look strange for some users.

Wow, that looks like an aspheric optic… great for throw. It’ll be interesting to see how it works in practice.

For the floody optic, how does the beam compare between 219B sw45k and 519A 5700K dedomed? I have heard their CCT and tint are similar…

Hank, on the D2 it looks like the pocket clip can be reversed, clipping near the head. Does that work, and if so can you show us a photo of how that looks?

Yes, please refer to the image of the clip, unfortunately, I haven’t found a suitable headband for D2 yet.

I think the Skillhunt band with the clip (which is excellent) will be too large. I have one from Trustfire that has smaller loops than most and it might work. Have to wait a couple weeks to find out.
